Oscars 2012 Best Dressed

Olá! Ontem durante a madrugada foram entregues as célebres estatuetas que tantos anseiam conquistar, os Óscares. Como sabemos, a época dos eventos de passadeira vermelha tem como ponto alto esta noite e todos se esforçam para estar no seu melhor! Vamos ver quem conseguiu e quem devia ter contrato uma stylist melhor.

Hi Gorgeous! Yesterday were delivered the famous statues that so many are eager to earn, the Oscars. As we know the red carpet season has its highlight this night and everyone tries to be at their best! Lets see who did it and who should’ve hired a better stylist, shall we?

Para mim houve grandes vestidos, usados por grandes actrizes e grandes mulheres, que vão com certeza ficar na história dos melhores vestidos dos Óscares.

To me there were great dresses, wore by great actresses and great women, that will without a doubt be remembered as some of the best dresses of the Oscars.

A doutrina da moda foi unânime: Milla Jovovich estava radiante com um vestido branco brilhante assinado por Elie Saab!

The fashion doctrine was unanimous: Milla Jovovich looked radiant in a white shimmering dress by the label of Elie Saab!

Giuliana Rancic estava divinal com um vestido de Tony Ward que lhe assentava lindamente, e os ombros faziam relembrar o filme cisne negro não acham? Eu achei!

Giuliana Rancic looked divine in a Tony Ward dress which fitted her amazingly grea and the details on the shoulders reminisce the black swan movie, at least for me they did!

Outra das minhas favoritas foi a namorada de George Clooney, Stacy Kleiber, amei o vestido dourado só com uma alça por Marchesa! Ela estava linda, o seu tom de pele dourado fez com que o contraste do vestido fosse mais suave o que o tornou ainda mais memorável. E aquele cabelo lindíssimo apanhado para o lado está super na moda e complementou o look de um modo perfeito. Nota-se que não deixou nada ao acaso!

Another favorite of mine was George Clooney’s girlfriend, Stacy Kleiber. I loved her one-strap golden dress by Marchesa! She was gorgeous, and her golden skin only softened the contrast regarding the dress making it look softer and turning her look into one of the most memorable of the night. And her side hair do is super hot right now and finished the look perfectly. You can´t tell she didn’t left anything to chance!

Já Jessica Chastain usou Alexander McQueen e estava fenomenal. Gostei muito do vestido e o preto com dourado será uma tendência no próximo Outono/Inverno.

Jessica Chastain wore Alexander McQueen and looked phenomenal. I really liked the dress and black and gold will be a trend next Fall.

Um dos melhores vestidos da noite foi usado por Michelle Wiliams. Fugiu ao que nos habituou esta época e ainda bem porque o vestido coral assentava-lhe muito bem e o pormenor do broche na sua cintura era divinal. Adorei o vestido Louis Vuitton e penso que foi, sem sombra de dúvidas, o seu melhor look da época e um dos melhores da noite.

One of the best dresses of the night was worn by Michelle Williams. She was far of what she has been showing us this season and good because this coral Louis Vuitton dress fitted her perfectly. The diamond bow brooch on her waist was divine. I loved the dress and I believe it was, without a doubt, her best look of the season and one the best of the night.

Para mim o melhor vestido da noite foi, indubitavelmente, o Giambattista Valli usado por Emma Stone. Ela assumiu um grande risco ao escolher um vestido semelhante a um dos looks mais icónicos dos Óscares (O vestido vermelho Chanel usado por Nicole Kidman em 2004), mas para mim o risco compensou e ela está lindíssima. Adoro a forma como o vestido lhe assenta, amo o laço ao pescoço, gosto do cabelo, das jóias.. Tudo! Ela está perfeita e arrasou com a concorrência.

To me, the best dress of the night was, without a doubt, the Giambattista Valli worn by Emma Stone. She took a great risk choosing a dress so similar to one of the most iconic Oscar dress (the red Chanel dress worn by Nicole Kidman in 2004), however, for me, the risk paid off and she looks stunning. I love the way the dress fits on her, I love the bow around her neck, love her dress, her jewelry… Everything! She’s perfect and she knocked down all the competition.

Ps. I haven’t forgotten Gwyneth!! I loved how she looked! Her makeup was flawless and thedress was amazing. However I’m not in love with the cape, I can’t really tell why I don’t love it, but I don’t. But she is definitely on my best dressed list!
