My Favorite Fashion Photographer

So i notice that i didn't talked about my maannn here!!
Who is him you may ask?

The only and only: MARIO TESTINO.

When i started to look at fashion photography closely i found some of my favorites till this day. We look at Vogue or Vanity Fair and even publicity has great photos.
A lot of hard work goes into making that ever so perfect image which master photographers make seem all too easy and i don't know if you ever tried but it's REALLY HARD to get that special feeling towards the picture. You want the people to feel the magic, to feel the moment and to really become that person in the picture. That's why they have sets, that's why they have perfect models.

In addiction to show the clothes and the jewerly those pictures tell a story.

Well apart from Terry Richardson, Annie Leibovitz and Richard Warren we have this gentleman.

I love, LOVE, LOVEEE his work

I was one of the many lucky ladys that went to Rome last year and saw this AMAZING EXIBITION:

Mario Testino's exhibition Todo o Nada

Opened at the Fondazione Memmo in the historic Palazzo Ruspoli in Rome on the 8th July 2011. The exhibition, first shown at the prestigious Museo Thyssen Bornemisza in Madrid in 2010, brings together 54 photographs that reveal the two opposing concepts to be found in Testino’s work, fashion and the nude. These concepts are present both in his better known activities as a fashion photographer, as well as in his more personal creations, including a number of unpublished photographs specially taken for this collection of work.

It was an once in a life time experience!

Olá my pumpkin pies!

Então eu reparei que eu não falei sobre um dos meus meus homens favoritos!
Quem é ele perguntam vocês?

O único : Mario Testino.

Quando eu comecei a aprender e a olhar mais atentamente para a fotografia de moda eu descobri rapidamente alguns dos meus favoritos até ao dia de hoje.

Olhamos para a Vogue ou Vanity Fair e até publicidade tem óptimas fotos.
É preciso muito trabalho para encontrar aquela imagem já tão perfeita, que os grandes fotógrafos fazem parecer muito fácil, eu não sei se vocês já tentaram mas é muito difícil conseguir aquele sentimento especial que queremos transmitir com uma determinada imagem.

Queremos que as pessoas sintam a magia da foto, sentir o momento e fazer quase parte daquele imaginário. É por isso que eles têm ambientes e sets , é por isso que eles têm modelos perfeitos.
Porque para além de mostrar as roupas e as jóias, as fotos contam uma história.
Pois além de Terry Richardson, Annie Leibovitz e Warren Richard temos este senhor.

Fui uma das SORTUDAS que foram a Roma no ano passado e vi esta INCRÍVEL exposição:

Exposição Mario Testino de Todo o Nada
Inaugurada na Memmo Fondazione no Palazzo Ruspoli em Roma, em 8 de julho de 2011. 

A exposição, exibida pela primeira vez no prestigioso Museu Thyssen Bornemisza, em Madrid, em 2010, reúne 54 fotografias que revelam os dois conceitos opostos.

Podem ser encontrados na forma de trabalhoTestino, Moda e Nus. 

Estes conceitos estão presentes tanto nas suas actividades ele é mais conhecido como fotógrafo de moda, estão expostas também criações mais pessoais, incluindo uma série de fotografias inéditas tiradas especialmente para esta colecção.
